Nearly a century has passed since the first generation of Cavazza winemakers began to write the first chapter of its story; the story of a vineyard, that is also the story of a family, of a land and of a wine. Cavazza’s is rooted in people, joined together like the branches on their vines. This is what makes Cavazza unique. They have a story to tell, and that story continues on. The generations have changed, but the love of the land remains the same. This is why the wines continue to be estate grown and bottled. The estate vineyards cover 400 acres and are all sustainably grown with attention to a green biodiverse approach to farming. History and tradition blend with the most modern technology complemented with the help of innovation. And like the vines, they also get energy from the sun. Since 2010, the winery has been completely autonomous, thanks to a photovoltaic system that allows them to work with clean energy. In 2017 Cavazza received the sustainable energy certification for working with energy derived from renewable sources.
